One of our favourite places to learn coding for free is Code Academy! Code academy even offers a personalized quiz to let you know where you should start based on prior knowledge and interests as well.
A New Language
Learning a new language comes with benefits like improved memory and critical thinking skills as well. While you may have heard of Rosetta stone, you can also take a look at Duolingo for a more laid back, on the go approach! Duolingo has several languages you can choose from and even some fictional words as well! If you set notifications, the Duolingo bird will make sure it gets you to put in your time for the day.
Adobe Creative Suite
The Adobe Creative Suite is a great set of skills to have under your belt. The world is your oyster with these products and there are several ways you can learn the program online. The adobe website itself has tutorials that you can follow.
Microsoft Office
Microsoft office is one of the basic tech skills everyone looks for. If you can show you’re proficient in one or all of these products on your resume, it will make you more marketable for future employers. Additionally, programs like Excel can help in your personal life when it comes to invoicing as a freelancer or managing a household budget.
